what's in my bag!
late follow on the trend started by hwa :) also inspired by dia's and em's post
i am traveling right now and everyone is asleep so it was the right time to do this haha. this is a kipling shoulder bag i bought a few years ago at an outlet in florida. i was shopping at another store and got a coupon for kipling so i convinced my mother to let me get one. it's in really good condition aside from stains/discoloration. i think it's four years old to the month, and although it's not the cutest of my bags it's the most useful (blue purse was fancier for work in 2019, and yellow canvas bag is so cute but now has so many pins on it that it's honestly a hazard for my hand.)
omg im typing this on my phone and i hate dreamwidth so much. anyway.
- hand sanitizer is the free one school gave me at the beginning of the sem
- bunny keychain i bought two summers ago? i think i gave becca the matching one but idk if she still has it lol
- yes I have three packages of tissues
- kodak instant camera from target. over the summer my friends got into taking pics with disposables and i really liked how they turned out but of course after the summer i didn't go anywhere or do anything so i haven't developed mine yet. i still have about 10 pics left out of 27 or 28; i will aim to develop it the first week of january. it's expensive so i dont just want to take pictures of nothing
- samsung power bank 10000mah. i'm spoiled because i don't actually have a samsung my dad gave it to me and i don't even know where he got it. I'll never carry around a power bank with less than 10k though
- disposable masks. ok so.......... i used to hate wearing these because they're really loose but now i hate wearing the masks i made because they've all shrunk in the wash and none of them fit right anymore. i really hope i dont get covid if i do i will delete this post
- flat wallet i bought at miniso in indonesia in dec18/jan19. i do not like folding my bills... i also think a thin wallet > an unnecessarily thick one
- nivea 99 cent moisturizing creme. i actually like scented lotion more so idk if i will buy again but it's really cheap and i like that its cream and not a thin lotion. i like the body shop hand creams but only when theyre on sale and i only have a tiny bit of one left. not pictured is the mingyu the saem grapefruit hand cream siyao offloaded onto me, which is almost out too and i dont recommend it bc it is very thin and the smell is also like.... ok i guess. i want loccitane hand cream but it's so expensive....
- hair tie :) not pictured is the scrunchie i took out today and is drying on the nightstand, or the 4-5 other hair ties, or the one i lost yesterday
- cute mechanical pencil (0.5) i bought online, pentel rsvp pen, pentel evergel 0.3, zebra mildliner. 0.3 is on the thin side for me but it was in my pen sampler. there is no purpose to the mildliner being in here i just forgot to take it out after the semester ended. ah school supplies is another good dw post idea!
- sleep mask from an eva plane. we have a bunch of these and i use them when traveling because i am sensitive to light. at home i use a bt21 one ajdjsjsj i actually genuinely recommend them........
- safecare aromatherapy oil..... lifesaver, my aunt gave me one for the first time after the great stomach fiasco of new year's eve 2018 and i have relied on this brand for my life ever since then. rly great for nausea and stomachaches and bug bites and anxiety
- eos vanilla lip balm my mom's friend gave me a year ago because she bought them in bulk at costco. i really like it though it must have broke right away and it cant retract anymore
- lanyard i bought in jakarta, same trip so I've been using it for two years. it's fraying a bit but doing fine... i love the pattern, keep my driver's license/one credit card/like ten dollars i think/student id in it. i used to keep the car key on it but we got a new car and i dont rly have an excuse to "own" a key rn. not pictured is the separate car key lanyard
- cheap sunglasses from cotton on... i really like the rosy tint but ofc they dont fit over my actual glasses. i can fit both glasses in the bag though, i do like that

- agree that kipling are super durable!! esp when you spill a drink..
- haha I also use the nivea cream!! the tin tub right? I also got it when travelling bc I didn't bring moisturiser and the weather switched to winter-dry super quickly. at first I didn't like the thickness but once its absorbed by the skin it's great? also the tin makes me nostalgic for my grandma's generation
- honestly got a serotonin hit when you listed your stationery... yes... what an idea... (I would love to read a school supply post from you!)

i never worry about this bag getting wet but i definitely remember getting oil from food on it so it's hard to bounce back from that one...
yep it's the nivea tin!! my hands get dry rly easily but i like lotions that absorb quickly.... so yea the crene is still pretty oily after but it's not the worst >_<
I'll keep the stationary idea around for next sem :) thanks!!

the aromatherapy oil is sort of expensive in the us but typically not more expensive than american branded stuff? I'd gotten it on amazon for ~$5 per bottle in a 3 pack but I can't find it for that price right now... but i really recommend it and will try to obtain in bulk next time
